We are an evangelical Baptist church serving the town of Dover and surrounding areas. As well as a desire to introduce others to Jesus, we want to help one another become more committed followers of Jesus Christ. Our stated core purpose is
The principal purpose of the Church is the advancement of the Christian faith according to the guidance of scripture and the principles of the Baptist denomination. The Church may also advance education and carry out other charitable purposes in the United Kingdom and/or other parts of the world.
Our worship is varied in style, and we have activities for many different age groups and interests. We have members in our fellowship from a variety of Christian traditions. We have an active and boisterous children and young people’s ministry.
If you are interested in joining a small group, we also have a variety of Home Groups that meet throughout the week at various locations.
As part of our mission to help people follow Jesus, we support Christian workers locally and around the world. We take seriously the importance of supporting members of the fellowship who are called to train and prepare for Christian ministry and mission.
We are actively involved with other churches in the town. We are part of Christians Together In Dover, and are with membership of the Baptist Union of Great Britain and the Evangelical Alliance
