Baptist Union of Great Britain

As a Baptist Church we subscribe to the Baptist Union of Great Britain.

Baptist Union – Beacons of Hope

The Baptist Union vision as a movement is to grow healthy churches in relationship for God mission, and that the churches are called to be Beacons of Hope in their communities, sharing the good news of Jesus in the places he has put us.  The Baptist Union of over 2000 churches, supported by staff in thirteen regional associations and three specialist teams based in Didcot, Oxfordshire. Their six Baptist Colleges prepare men and women for ministry and offer ongoing development and training.

More information on the work and activities of the Baptist Union can be found at About Baptist Union.

South Eastern Baptist Association

Being in Kent, Dover Baptist Church is also a member of the South Eastern Baptist Association.

The South Eastern Baptist Association exists to help and support around 150 churches which form our membership and they are divided into smaller “networks” for easier collaboration and fellowship.

As part of its support to people/churches during the COVID-19 Situation, SEBA has pulled together a dedicated page with more information about how SEBA & SEBA’s churches are dealing with it – including details of those churches live-streaming services (SEBA Coronavirus Support) as information comes in.
